The final exam will have two parts: a written part and a hands-on programming part.
The Written Part will cover material
that you’ve studied in Unit 9 through Unit 12. For this part you are allowed
to use a hand-held calculator (no cell phones) but no computer, books,
notes, or handouts.
All problems will
be similar to problems on Homework #9 through Homework #12, or to the practice sheets that we did in class.
On the Programming Part you will use Visual Studio to write two programs similar to ones you’ve written
in Labs #9 through #12. For this part you are allowed to use your desktop computer, books, notes, lab
handouts, a hand-held calculator (no cell phones), and old program files that you have saved to the computer. You are not allowed to use the Internet except to upload your program files to the course website.
